The COVID-19 pandemic is impacting all of us in many ways. It has also spurred many studies regarding the impacts on air quality, the roles of air pollutants in spreading the disease (maybe on aerosols) and on exacerbating negative health outcomes. We feel that WMO Global Atmosphere Watch (GAW) has important roles to play related to this pandemic and would like to develop a strategy moving forward. So, each of you are invited to provide ideas and feedbacks regarding what our research community can do and/or contribute to.
WMO has established a special web page for COVID which we can use for our communication as well. See here.
Besides the GAW survey will collect information and ideas, so please fill out this survery here.
